Overview
AtalYatra strives to offer fair and transparent pricing for every intercity and outstation ride. This Refund Policy explains when you may cancel a booking, how refunds are calculated, and how to request support. By confirming a booking with us, you agree to the terms below.
Advance payments
Some bookings require a partial or full advance payment to confirm your cab. The amount paid in advance is shown on your booking confirmation. Refunds, when applicable, are processed to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Cancellation by customer
- More than 24 hours before pickup: Full refund of any advance paid, minus payment gateway charges (if applicable).
- Between 12 and 24 hours before pickup: 50% of the advance amount is refundable; the balance covers driver allocation and operational costs.
- Less than 12 hours before pickup: No refund of advance payment, as the vehicle and driver are typically already assigned.
- No-show: If you are unreachable at the pickup location after reasonable waiting time, the booking may be marked complete with no refund.
Cancellation by AtalYatra
If we cancel your ride due to vehicle unavailability, driver emergency, or operational issues on our side, you will receive a full refund of any amount paid, or we will reschedule your trip at no extra cost—whichever you prefer.
Service issues during the trip
If you experience a significant service failure (wrong vehicle category, major delay without notice, or safety concern), contact us immediately at +91 91557 72255. Valid complaints reported during or within 24 hours of the trip may qualify for a partial refund or fare adjustment after review.
Non-refundable charges
- Toll taxes, state taxes, parking, and permit fees paid during the journey (unless the fare quote explicitly included them).
- Extra km or waiting charges beyond the agreed package.
- Bookings cancelled within the no-refund window listed above.
Refund processing time
Approved refunds are initiated within 5–7 business days. UPI and bank timelines may add 2–5 additional days depending on your provider. You will receive confirmation once the refund is processed from our end.
How to request a refund
Email hello@atalyatra.com or call +91 91557 72255 with your booking ID, registered phone number, and reason for the request. Our team will respond within one business day.
This policy may be updated from time to time. The version on atalyatra.com/refunds applies to all bookings made after the published date.
